Dr. Emma Clark Psychologist-Supervised Practice
I am a clinical psychologist in supervised practice who provides psychological services for children and adolescents. I completed my Doctoral degree in School/Applied Child Psychology at McGill University in 2023. Throughout my learning and training, I have gained experienced in assessing and treating a number of conditions that impact children and adolescents. This includes difficulties with learning, attention, mood, anxiety, autism, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, body focused repetitive behaviour, and emotion dysregulation. I have experience in a number of environments, including hospitals, school boards, community mental health services, voluntary inpatient treatment, and private practice. My research experience has explored the impact of attentional challenges on math learning.
I presently work full time in private practice under supervision. I can provide psychological assessments, therapy with youth, or consultation to parents on supporting their children. I borrow from a number of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), and Emotion-Focused Skills Training for Parents (EFST). I work closely with youth and families to determine and individualized approach that best meets your needs
